Portfolio Exhibition and Client Reception
Brief
The objective of this event was to communicate the success story of this young property development and investment company and to showcase its portfolio in a dynamic exhibition as well as to thank colleagues and supporters who had contributed to that success with a welcoming evening reception.
Solution
The first step was to match the venue to the client with the focus on urban regeneration and a concentration of projects in the Thamesmead area of south east London – part of the strategically important Thames Gateway.
It was vital to choose a venue with obvious synergy with the client and Events Plus identified a converted chocolate factory in the Bermondsey heritage conservation area. The Delfina restaurant offered us a wonderful (and unique in London) blank canvas space for the team to create a walk-through exhibition of projects and a highly regarded restaurant from which to provide creatively produced food for guests.
Working with our design team, we created the “Inspire your Senses” evening, transforming the blank gallery into an interactive walkway of exhibits showcasing the client’s property portfolio. Each exhibit involved one of our five senses to illustrate it – e.g. the sound of children laughing for school projects. The walkway ended with a ladder to the future and a tower of champagne demonstrating the “taste of success”.
Result
This was all about creativity, innovation, information, energy and forward thinking. The “senses” project delivered the objective to inform, inspire, impress and, importantly, to thank the clients’ guests, colleagues and supporters.
